Non-Excitement
Matt says Kourtland has a "man crush" on Dirk Nowitzki! He was really excited and picked this game b/c of Steve Nash, Shaq, Dirk and a few others, but he talked about it FOREVER!!! They also went to Dave and Busters and had a good time.
Now Kadence wants to go to a basketball camp, those are pricey! But, we have yet to find one close by until spring time! So we are still working on that one. I was thinking a new flat screen T.V. for their bedroom. They play video games and watch movies in there and their little 19" t.v. is pretty old! We shall see!
Kourtland sold popcorn for scouts and he sold the most in his pack so he won the prize to tour the University of Arkansas sports facilities. We got to go in the locker rooms, stadiums, and meet players and get autographs! It was a great time! They are sitting inside the locker room in these pictures in the same seats the players SIT in!! LOL!!!

Cousins
My surrogate Niece

This is my cute surrogate Niece. For all you faithful readers you know that I am not really allowed to be around my REAL niece.
This is Kylie and she is so sweet. I love her to pieces. This is another CEC trip with my best friend Shelly and her 6 kids!!!!!!! Kylie wanted to go draw our picture. We did 2 one with our tongues out and this one. We each got to keep one and she chose the tongue one. Isn't she cute???
She calls Matt my daddy? If he is not with me she will always say "Where is your Daddy?" It is so cute. I'll say my Daddy is in Van Buren, but my husband is at __________. Then she will say "Oh, yeah Matt is your husband!" I just love her to death! She's a cutie pie!!!
Chuck E. Cheese Adventure

So a few weeks ago we went to Chuck E. Cheese for a school fundraiser. We had eaten our pizza and gone to play games when Kadence found me and said "Mom, I want some more pizza." I had already boxed it all up and had it on the table ready to go so I went over with him to help him out.
And would you believe that a woman and her son were sitting at the table behind ours eating our leftover pizza out of the to go box and drinking Matt's drink?????!!!!!!!! I'm not kidding either!!!!
I asked her if she got the food and drink off of our table and she said "No,No!" (she was Mexican and tried to speak a no english) I was so ticked! I told her YES, you did!!! I went to find the manager so he could kick them out or atleast say something to her, but they took off. Can you believe that though? I was shocked! I guess they needed that free food so they could play some games.
We got a "free" pizza out of the deal, but I was still so mad. I mean they were even drinking out of Matt's straw! Gross!!!!!!!!! I took some pictures with my phone and for some reason they won't load onto my computer. They were of the food in the to go box and Kadence with a pouty, hungry and sad face. So just use your imagination. And next time to go to Chuck E. Cheese leave an armed guard at your table with your leftovers!!!!
WHY ME????????????? UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looky here...........

Anyone......

Well, this is really just kind of a mercy post. I have just been thinking a lot lately about life and when mine will seem normal! I know to some this may not make any sence, but let me fill you in a bit.
Matt has finally finished his degree! We worked really hard to get that done and I am so proud of him for doing it! Now we moved back to Arkansas from Idaho and figured he could get a job, no problem. Well, the school year has started and he didn't get a job. So he has a degree and is still in a factory! Which is fine there is nothing wrong with the factory, but we worked so hard to get that piece of paper! So with no guarantee of a job for next school year either should we try to look in other places for jobs and move again or stay and hope for the best?
He applied so many places and didn't even get an interview! That is discouraging! I have a good job and good hours and we don't really want to move. The kids don't want to move, but we need to get his career going. And then where should we look to move to?? Arizona, Utah, Texas, Missouri, Idaho? NOT Oklahoma! I refuse to live there!!! I just don't know. I know we need to pray about it and we will when it gets closer and the final decision needs to be made. I have just been stressing about it A LOT lately. Mostly b/c I don't want to move again. The kids are happy to be back and they love being around family and so do I, but I LOVED living away too! There is something to be said about "coming home" and it just being a visit.
I don't know! Just bored and figured I would blog about it and get some feedback from the masses of readers that I have!!! LOL!!!! Oh blessed are the few and faithful!!! (Thanks family and Laura) :o)
So who has the magic answer and who wants to bribe me to move closer to them???? I'm open for options here!!!

Mind your own d@m! business......

Ok, so just when I said I didn't have anything to blog about check this out! Today is Sunday and I was having some MAJOR pre-menstrual crampage all through church. I gave in and stopped by Wal-Mart on the way home for some Pamprin MAX cause I was getting kinda biznatchy...if you know what I mean!
Anywho, I was running in for medicine so I left the boys in the car...locked, AC blasting and 3 spaces away from the front door! (keep in mind they are 11 & 8) I have never in ALL of their years left them in a car while I went into a store. This was the absolute first time. I am in line to check out and Kadence (11) comes in crying and telling me that some lady walked around the car and wrote down my tag number! I told him I didn't care go get back in the car with your brother! NOW!!!!
I come out get in the car and lecture him about how he was safer in the locked car and I understood him being scared, but he should have never gotten out. What if he hadn't found me right away? I don't even want to think about it! So, I am like ticked out of my mind and PMS'ing the the whole way home. Right when we pull into the drive way he tells me the lady had the nerve to ask him when he was coming into the store where the baby was? He said what baby? My brother is in the car, but he is 8!!! She basically calls him a liar and tells him to get back into the car!!!
Why the H#LL didn't you tell me that while we were still in the parking lot? I would have seriously found her and probably been in the back of a police car! She really scared the crap out of my kids for no reason. I did nothing wrong, I did not break any laws and if there had been a baby in the car I could understand her "concern" but this was just plain being too d@m! nosey. Don't you think??? If she was THAT concerned she could have really checked the car over good to make sure there wasn't a small child inside. My kids were in no danger for the whole 4-5 minutes I was inside.
If the car was turned off and it was blazing hot and the windows up or down I could see her point. I just don't understand what she was trying to accomplish with this one. It sure got my blood boiling I can tell you that! Good job nosey bi@....hefer! Can you tell I've had some time to cool down?
Go ahead....tell me I'm a bad mother!!! LOL!!!! I really don't think I was in the wrong? Haven't any of you left your kids in the car? And really I waited until they were 11 & 8 to do it for the first time!!!!

BLOG LOOOOOSER..............
I get so worn out from all the practices and games and working 2 jobs and taking care of my house and so on and so on. I know I shouldn't complain, but dang it!!! How do people have more than 2 kids, I don't get it!!!! I guess I am not "supermom" enough. I love the sports and watching them. (not that I have a choice, I live with all boys) With that said sometimes I just long for the days of coming home from work and lounging on the couch with the remote control. (in my control)
On the flip side of that Hallelujah school is starting! I am so excited. Even though I work the exact same hours the boys are in school I am so glad they are going back. They are too, they love school.
Matt didn't get a teaching job this year, if you can believe that. He is not happy about it either. So he it stuck in the factory job for atleast one more year. Atleast he will make more money this year than he would if he was teaching!!! LOL!!! We have about decided that if he doesn't get one next year by mid summer we will start applying in other places and if we have to move, we have to move. We sure don't want to, but he worked too hard for that degree!!! My kids do not want to move!!! EVER, they say! So life should get exciting next summer for us!
Well, there is a little mini update on my wonderful life! Oh, and I finally get to be a "real aunt" and I am loving it! I love that little booger!! He is so cute and he knows that I am his favorite aunt cause he smiles when I TELL him that I am! I had him laughing so much in sacrament last week he had the hiccups! It was cute, maybe not sacrament appropriate, but cute none the less! Anywho, shout out peeps!!! :o)

Purse update

I never blogged about this story b/c it ticks me off!!! I will now let you in on my major source of frustration for the last few months. The last week in April someone busted the window out of my car at the ball park and stole my purse. In my purse of course was my wallet, checkbook, DL, social security cards (me & the boys), debit card, credit cards, a $50 gift card, a paycheck, NO CASH, uuummmm oh master keys to the apartments, and a few things that I just can't recall at this moment. Oh and it was my brand new Prada purse and Coach wallet!!!! Sucks I know!!
I was very scared for a long time cause they knew where I lived and esentially had keys to get in!! We found from some video footage at a gas station that it was a black man. He used my debit card to fill his gas tank and drove to Tunica, Mississippi where he got someone to write 4 checks to 4 different casino's all to the tune of $4800!!! And they got away with it!! Thus the smooth criminal pic.
They did a piss poor job of signing my signature so I know they casino was not really paying attention. But, they don't care they got there money. The check approval company that approved all 4 of the checks is responsible for the money. They wrote 2 $1500 checks, a $800 check and a $1000 check. Can you believe that a check approval company would approve that amount all in the same day??? They were different companies, but still. There was not any money in that account when they were writting checks b/c I had already transferred it into another account on the internet!!!
It just really ticks me off that they got away with it. I mean $4800 in one day is BANK!!! OH, well I learned my lesson and everyone reading should too. DON'T LEAVE YOUR PURSE IN THE CAR!!! EVER!!! I would always leave my purse in the car. I also do not carry a checkbook anymore. I hardly ever used it anyways just habit to have it. I only carry my DL and debit card now!!
There is your story. I am sure they will get caught one of these days, I just hope it is soon so that I can prosecute too!!!!
Mini update....
Not a lot has gone on here lately. Just the usual. Baseball is OVER thank goodness!! So now just the two jobs, church and swimming pool are all that occupy my life. For those of you who know me you know that I l.o.v.e to be in the sun during the summer. It is my fav time of the year. I know it gets hot here, but I really enjoy it! I have been working on my tan and loving every minute of it.
School is out for the boys and they both did wonderfully. Kadence got an award for history, go figure. His teacher said he is a special young man, a walking history book and she can really see him teaching in college someday!! WOW!!!! The boy does love some history. Kourtland did really well too. They were most excited to get the report cards b/c Papaw pays $5 for A's!!!!
Matt is still searching for a job. We aren't having much luck at the present moment! That is not fun....he is planning to sub during the school year if he does not get a job.
Well folks there you have it. My updated life!! How exciting was that?? I know, right? OH, and I have lost about 20 lbs.........now about 25 to go and I will be HAPPY!!!! Go me!!!
